Does memory of your life in university occurs to you in your current
workplace? Please state.
 
A1 I think school life in university was seems as a preview of real workplace.  We have overcome a lot of challenges in school life such as do a projects research, hold a presentation, build up a friendship, etc which are reflecting on the current workplace.

 
Q2 Do you think the knowledge you have learnt is very useful to your current job? Please state.
 
A2

I studied a BBA program from Benedictine College Hong Kong campus through HKICE, which is concentrate on marketing field, financial knowledge and management skills, the program assessment methods are tend to be continuing evaluation such as presentation, project analysis, paper research, etc. The knowledge are very practical and match with my current job – program administration, and the continuing assessment method was also enforce my team spirit, problem solving skills, creative thinking, etc in my workplace. Business education background was also providing me a confident of gained a competitive advantage in Hong Kong market.

 
Q3 Do you currently keep in touch with some other graduates? How many? Why?
 
A3

Absolutely YES, why not? I am still keep in touch with most of my classmates even though some junior graduates. We are always share our current life experience with each others and holding a regular gathering especially birthday party.

 
Q4 What is your expectation from the establishment of Alumni by gathering graduates? Please state.
 
A4

I hope that establishment of Alumni can allow BC graduates to have an official platform for interaction. Graduates could get supporting from the Alumni such as working referral, business opportunity, etc. For long term, it must build up a positive reputation on our college.

 
 
Q5 Could you say something to encourage more graduate to support the Alumni?
 
A5

I think Alumni were treated as a platform for all BC graduates to build up a powerful network. It is also being an opportunity to recall a lot of good memories.

  Q1 Does memory of your life in university occurs to you in your current
workplace? Please state.
 
A1

Definitely a YES because where I’m working is the place where I studied, HKICE.

 
Q2 Do you think the knowledge you have learnt is very useful to your current job? Please state.
 
A2

I think some of my knowledge could be applied in my current working position such as, team spirit, group work, using contingency plan, problem solving skills, etc.

 
Q3 Do you currently keep in touch with some other graduates? How many? Why?
 
A3 Yes I am in touch with most of my classmates, range of 10 – 15 because firstly they are those people with whom I have jumped different types of hurdles, they are those people with whom I spent my entire 2 years sharing all sorts of emotion with one another. In fact, even in our busy lives, some of our classmates tend to hold a monthly once birthday party for our friends and that is when we get to see each other.

What is your expectation from the establishment of Alumni by gathering
graduates? Please state.
 
A4 From the Alumni, I expect to know about my fellow classmates lives both in career and education. Sharing some memorable moments from when we were students both with graduated and past lecturers such as Thomas Wong, William Lai, JJ, Jack, Shum, etc.

Could you say something to encourage more graduate to support the Alumni?

 
A5 Alumni is organized as an once a year event in where HKICE provides quality time for both graduates and previous lecturers to mingle and share their feelings, chit chats, etc. I think graduates should not miss this wonderful memorable opportunity.

Rikaza Meera
  Q1 Does memory of your life in university occurs to you in your current
workplace? Please state.
 
A1 Yes it definitely does as I am now working in HKICE. I think working here is a trigger for keeping memories alive. Even if I hadn’t been working in HKICE, memories will still be coming back to me to relive some precious moments spent during my tertiary education.

 
Q2 Do you think the knowledge you have learnt is very useful to your current job? Please state.
 
A2 Certainly. During my study in BC HK Campus, as a student, I learnt lots of methods to maintain a team. Working in groups may be difficult due to diverse personality; however, I learnt maintaining and convincing team members through group assignments and presentations, which is now handy at work as I am not working independently but dependently as a team member.

 
Q3 Do you currently keep in touch with some other graduates? How many? Why?
 
A3

Yes I do. Most of my classmates. We meet up every now and then to have a meal and thanks to tele & e-communication that we use MSN or simply call each other to be in touch and to be updated.

 
Q4 What is your expectation from the establishment of Alumni by gathering
graduates? Please state.
 
A4 I hope all the graduates could come together and always remember this particular phase in their life - Studying in BC.

 
Q5 Could you say something to encourage more graduate to support the Alumni?
 
A5 Dear Friends, we’ve had some bad moments and good moments during our study in BC. Whatever we are now came after graduating from BC that is we are now known as a “Bachelor Graduate”. I know we’re all busy with work & studies, that’s the culture in Hong Kong. But I do hope, we graduates could come together by being Alumni and relive those old memories.

  Q1 Have you ever think of passed university’s life in your workplace? Please state.
 
A1

Yes, I am very happy in my school life in Benedictine College, especially in the exchange program, I can experience the school life in USA. It was really exciting and the students were very nice. Also some unforgettable lecturers like C.C. Chan and J.J. their teaching method was different from the local school.
Beside I love doing projects with my schoolmates!! We really give a lot of efforts on them.

 
Q2 Do you think the knowledge you have learnt is very useful to your current job? Please state.
 
A2 I think the knowledge that I have learnt in BC is very useful. As I am working in a bank, the knowledge of finance, bonds, funds and shares can help me to understand more and easily to communicate with the customers. Also the course of business communication can help me to improve my interview skills

 
Q3 Do you currently keep in touch with some other graduates? How many? Why?
 
A3

Yes, of course. Our friendship is never end. We can share our experience of our job and release our pressure from our work. Beside we always talk about our funny memories in our school life. For example the lecturers, the activities in our school….

 
Q4 What do you expect to the Alumni to all other graduates after establishment? Please state.
 
A4

Help the student to Find Job. At least give some directions or ideas of different job. And provide some research information would be better. For example hold some workshop for students.

 
Q5 Could you say something to encourage more graduate to support the Alumni?
 
A5 I hope different year’s graduates can join the alumni as it is one of the unforgettable memories with the college. And share more working experience with us to support our college.
